  • A Mom of Two-Under-Two

Monica is a mom to two kids under 2-years-old. She sees lots of parenting content online and isn’t sure what to make of it--what’s true and what’s just viral content?

She started working with me to sort out fact from fiction and get guidance on handling day-to-day parenting challenges--especially grocery store visits.

Monica and her husband had recently had a pretty disastrous trip to the grocery that ended with their screaming 2-year-old throwing an enormous tub of yogurt out of the cart (it exploded everywhere).

Monica was determined to find a way to prevent this from happening again.

Monica came to parenting club and took time to reflect on what happened in the grocery store.

What happened leading up to her son’s meltdown?

What was her role in it?

What could they do differently next time?

She had a plan and felt confident!

A few weeks later she messaged me, “You gave us really helpful insight that has been a GAME CHANGER. We’ve been having the most peaceful grocery trips and my 2-year-old loves getting to help.”

The Logistics: She attended a parenting club meeting.

  • A Single Dad

Brian is a dad to a 4-year-old, Arlo. He’s navigating coparenting and wants to make sure he’s giving his son everything he needs to grow into a capable, kind, responsible person.

He started working with me to get guidance on realistic routines and appropriate boundaries. And, of course, to deepen his connection with Arlo.

We talked through Brian’s separation from his wife and determined that Arlo was having a tough time navigating between two different households.

We talked about routines and made a plan for how to get Arlo’s involvement in creating a routine chart.

After a couple weeks of using the routine chart, Brian reported that Arlo had completely stopped asking, “Where am I sleeping tonight?”

This was such an encouraging sign that he was feeling more settled and secure.

We’ll be working on implementing family meetings next...more to come soon :)

The Logistics: Brian completed the “Understand and Prevent” coaching package, and has joined my coaching membership program.

  • A Burnt Out Mom

Morgan is a mom to a 2-year-old, Ryder, and expecting a baby due in June. She’s nervous about adding another little to the family, and wants to make sure she’s got a good foundation before things get even busier.

She started working with me to get guidance about how to care for everyone’s needs--and her own.

We talked through her son’s most pressing developmental needs and made a plan for continuing to meet those needs, even after the baby comes.

We talked about how absolutely essential caring for herself will be--especially practicing emotional honesty with friends and family.

We made a plan for how she’ll tell her trusted people that she needs help, who she’ll rely on for support, and what she’ll do if it gets too overwhelming.

She opted to join my membership as part of her self-care plan.

We’re continuing to work on reducing anxiety, increasing confidence in her ability to parent, and finding work-life balance.

The Logistics: She completed “A New Way to Parent” and has joined my coaching membership program.
